just a little follow up on the sensor replacement. Went ahead and swapped the EOP sensor today and it took a little while to figure out the path of least resistance, and with that in mind, all i had to remove was the small coolant return hose that feeds the reservoir. It required a 1-1/16 deep well socked with about a 10 inch extension. a pair of needle nose pliers was also handy. the only burden obstruction was an oil supply line going to the compressor side of the turbo. anyways, hopefully this solves my issues. thanks again guys for your advice.

Ok Guys, haven't driven the truck any long distance but after letting it warm up for about 30 mins then a quick mile drive around the block, no alarm and the gauge is holding steady. Hopefully this is the end of it. Haha. BTW, how do you get pictures to post on this thread?

Put them on photobucket and copy them, then come back here and click on the little picture icon by the text box. Right click, paste, and click ok.

Yeah, that didn't work.

Copy the IMG code on the picture you want to share from photobucket then just right click and paste it in the body of your post and it should show up.

Kinda.

Step 1- go to photobucket

step 2- open the picture you want to post

step 3- On the right side of the screen there will be 4 small text boxes.
Email & IM [ ]
Direct [ ]
HTML [ ]
IMG [ ] <- Copy the text that is in the IMG box

Step 4- Go back to powerstroke.org and go to the quick/advanced reply text box
Step 5- Above the text box there is a small yellow icon that says "Insert Image" when you hover your mouse above it, Click on it.
Step 6- Paste what you copied from photobucket into the text box that pops up and click OK.
Done.

It took me awhile to figure it out too. :hehe: Nice write up.

I had the same problem, changing the sensor fixed it. Pretty easy. Unplug old one (it's behind the oil filter), remove with a socket, put new one in, plug it in. Enjoy the peaceful sound of no beeping.
