Oil drip at the hot side pipe to intercooler coupler.

My 2010 F350 has oil leaking from the hot side pipe to coupler at the inter-cooler. It has @17000 mi on a Ford rebuilt motor drop in motor. It is fully deleted with Mishimoto radiator, hoses, inter-cooler pipes, a new all aluminum inter-cooler, Bullet Proof Diesel oil cooler and filter, BD Diesel manifolds and up pipes, S&B CAI, oil catch can, 4" stainless turbo back straight exhaust and Air Dog lift pump. It runs great and get 21+MPG running a mild street tune. I use a tow tune when hauling my 21k 5th wheel.

I had an oil analysis done @3 weeks ago by Blackstone Labs and they reported "This engine is off to a great start. The universal averages show how this engine type tends to wear after 5,400 miles on the oil -- and that's only for mature engines, once all the wear-in stuff has washed out. Your engine is pretty low-mileage, so there might be some lingering wear-in here, but if there is, there isn't much. The wear metals all tested appropriately low for a 1500-mile interval, and no contamination from fuel dilution, water, or coolant was present. You'd be fine to run this oil longer, if you wanted. Another 2,000 miles (at least) should be fine."
I just changed the oil from Rotella T4 to Triax Fleet Supreme ESP 5W-40 full synthetic.

I am concerned that there may be a seal failing in the turbo. It's not covered by the warranty because the truck is deleted.

Would I be better off replacing the turbo with a stock rebuild, changing to an after market single turbo or just having the seals replaced?

Thanks in advance.

Its possible its a turbo, but it could just be crankcase vapor carry over, Does your catch can outlet go back into the intake?, how much oil does the catch can pick up? It is very typical for the entire intake tract from the LP turbo inlet to the intake manifold to become contaminated with oil vapor from the crankcase venting. Condensed oil will normally accumulate at the inlet to the Intercooler. A catch can will help, but depending on the type and how its plumbed in, it will not eliminate it.

The output of the catch can goes to the intake tube on the S&B. There has never been more than a few drops of oil from the catch can but it’s only been there for the past 2k miles. The oil could be pre install of the can. It’s a Mishimoto setup for the 6.4.
