So Ford has told me there are 3 separate NOx sensors.. I see only two. And my front differs from the rear, I bought two of the same as those were the only ones that showed fit this truck through the parts store I went through. I put them both in and the truck couldn't read bank two anymore. Now that I put the old one back in it seems fine so far.

Are the sensors meant to be different? I bought the truck used and I'm trying to correct the issues she has. Thanks in advance for any help and apologies if I come across jumbly, it's been an exhausting few days.

Your truck (2017-2019 ?) has TWO NOx sensors and one Particulate Matter Sensor. NOx 1-1 is before the SCR catalyst and NOx 1-2 is after the SCR catalyst and they are not interchangeable. The PM 1-1 or Particulate Matter Sensor is in the tailpipe.

Thank you, I was getting very frustrated with ford.. I wonder if he was trying to sell me am extra sensor I didn't need or if he was oblivious. Is there a dedicated part number for bank 2? Bank 1 seems to have fixed my problems, but wanted to replace both. Went aftermarket because my wife's brother works at oreillys and got a way better deal.

My truck is a 2019
