I apologize if I'm posting in the wrong spot. I'm new here..My name is Ryan I own a 2001 F-250 7.3..Looking to install a kill switch on the neutral safety switch/transmission range sensor. I need to find which color wire I can can tap into to for the switch. I'm looking for a diagram for the neutral safety switch/ range selector if anyone has one or has any information related to this. Please let me know. Sorry again if I post in the wrong spot. I'm thinking its the dark blue/orange or white/pink wire at the range sensor.....

You're in just the right spot! ;)

OK so you have an '01 and this complicates things a bit as during the '01 run there were major electrical changes. So, all you have to do is to look at your Instrument Cluster, if you have a digital OD and Trans Temp Gauge in the cluster you use '02 wiring diagrams, if not use 2000 diagrams (there really are no '01 schematics because of this) .

But, I would just slide under the truck and have a look at the NSSW on the input selector of the transmission, I think you'd find the wires there pretty much in the open. Shouldn't be hard, open either one of them and I bet you'd stop it from cranking....
