I have one and use it with a second camera to see the 5th wheel hitch when hooking up. Works great, easy to install. Thinking of adding another camera to front to see when pulling forward. Can't always tell where the front bumper is.

Good to know! I plan on putting one up by the rear cab light and one in the front. Being able to get several inches closer in the front makes all the difference when maneuvering in a tight parking lot.

Yeah having the ability to see my GN ball would be great for hooking up.

Won't be much to see

I have it and it works great. I use it to watch dvds or movies off my ipod when on road trips. Its also nice to be able to use the navigation and other features while driving down the road.

I have it and use it for the unlocks in-motion and an in-bed camera.
I'm planning on getting a 5th wheel this winter. What camera do you have and how did you mount it?

Wish they would validate its operation with thee 2015 Superduties...I would like to get one and have it available when my truck arrives...

Hi Larry,

Thanks for the inquiry.

I'd recommend checking back towards the end of the year. I do not have an exact date yet.

Thanks, and have a great day.

Is there any idea when the FREEDOM IN MOTION MYTOUCH LOCKPICK 2 for all MyTouch Ford Lincoln systems will be tested with the 2015 Ford SuperDuty? Are there any anticipated problems at this time with compatibility?

Awesome.. Thanks!!

Does anyone know if the front camera needs to be capable of reversing or mirroring the captured image? ...Or does the LockPick itself have the capability to do so?

My new sound system is being installed this Friday and I'd like to have the LockPick + Front Camera installed at the same time, but I don't know what type of camera I need!

I'm very interested in the Lockpick as well, has anyone determined wether it could mess with the trucks factory warranty?

Well, it's funny you asked. I have to call Coastal Electronics tomorrow because there was apparently a problem with the front camera feature. I say "apparently" because a technician at Car Toys was supposed to install it for me along with a new audio system. It was installed to the point the rear camera was fully accessible, but not the front camera. The technician spoke to Coastal Electronics, but believes my particular unit is not functioning properly. I'm calling them tomorrow and hopefully get it all sorted out without any problems...

I should have installed it myself because now I'm taking the word of an audio technician that something is wrong with the unit. I thought it would be convenient to have the lockpick installed at the same time as my sound system since the dash needed to be opened up anyway. The rearview camera enabling worked, but it would kick me out every time the front camera was suppose to turn on. The front camera was going to be the best part. I still haven't called Coastal yet, but will hopefully have some time tomorrow...

Has anyone took the gamble and ordered one for there 2015? Why would they not test it?? Should not be too hard to find someone(offer them a free unit??) and it would open up a lot more sales for them.

I ordered one and hooked it up.....i could switch on the rear camera....i did not have another camera to test a second input.....nor did i take it for a drive to check the nav input...I am confident it would work ok....but long story short....i returned it....i could not see paying 340 for it at this time....

i decided to buy a tailgate cable, stock Ford 2015 camera, Ford Bezel and 10 ft of 4 conductor wire to make a long cable. I built a mount to look down on my 5th wheel from some scrap tubing/steel.....this set up cost me about $150 and serves my needs a lot better.........yea yea, i know.....i got to lay under the bumper to hook up and disconnect the cable...

FYI....i did notice the cable on the LockPick 2 is not really long enough to mount the box where you can access it with ease. Maybe the next person can find a different location besides above the glove box on the console side of glove box. Cable was not long enough to place the control box in the glove box like the previous lockpick version.
