I would suspect turbo area as a possible cause,it will be really hard to locate the leak I would suggest maybe using a small mirror from the top around the turbo area.Thats we’re I would start and work your way down .

 

Thank you. I looked down from the top of the motor. There's no oil in the valley and I cant see any from the top of the turbo but ill put a mirror down and see if I can see from under the turbo. Its hard to tell it looks like its coming from the side of the block area under the head but it could be closer to the back. Its so hard this engine bay is tighter than a frogs @ss

 

Could have blown glow plug harness out

 

Found it. There's a 90 little rubber elbow that attaches the pcv hose to the block that was dry rotted. It was a beast to get to. Had to remove the starter and use long bent needle nose to unclip squeeze clamps all by feel with one hand. $5 dollar part and a few hours but probably saved a few thousand.

 

Yea forgot about that hose, it absolutely is a sob to get too

 

Can you replace just the 90 or do you have to replace whole hose I’m having the same issue

 

I replaced the 90 with a PVC one instead of the cheap rubber they used. Not going to lie it was a pain in the @ss getting up in there but it's doable.

Here's the routing up the front of the block, ford will want to sell you the whole line. I was kidding of course. Easy to get to with the engine on a stand.
