Hi all,
I have read as many threads as I can find and still see no solution. I have a 2011 6.7l king ranch. My map sensor has been intermittent for a couple years now. I tried a few different ones, then went to the original Ford unit. Still the same. It only happens on startup, and I can reset it with my tuner, but it still comes back every week or so. The wiring is fine. What other components could be affecting the sensor?
It was happening before I put the Banks tuner on as well. I would just shut the truck off and restart it, the error would go away.

p0069. No other codes. When I clear the code, the boost comes back and everything is normal. Then, maybe a day later, maybe a week later, maybe a month later, it comes back. This only happens at startup. Prior to having the banks tuner to clear the code, I would shut the truck off, then start it again and it would be cleared.

Do you have Forscan, some other code reader or are you only using your tuner? (Truck is tuned?)

I see in your last reply you have a boost (other) issue(s) when this happens?

Researching, others changed both MAP and BARO sensors with same result as you (no change), code keeps returning. Did you check / change out BARO sensor? Assume you also checked wiring on both? and dirty / clogged air filter could cause.

You should also get an actual reading on both BARO and MAP sensors, as the code indicates a discrepancy between the two. (I believe they are suppose to be within .4 of one another.

2 instances of P0069 was wiring (3 wires) on EBP sensor were damaged...fixed wiring to EBP sensor and code went away.

I only have he banks tuner. It doesn't matter if I run a tune or stock I still get the code. I was under the impression that the baro sensor was part of the map sensor. Can anyone tell me where the actual baro sensor is on a 2011 6.7l? When this code is preset there is no turbo, just motor.

Baro I believe is internal with the ECM. Forscan for monitoring is free, the OBD2 adapter either blue tooth or cable is the only expense. If you want to change truck parameters with Forscan it cost $12 annually.
Here's a link: Download FORScan

Picture attached is location of EBP sensor (circled in red, brass on bottom). That (electrical connections) seems to cause issues due to location.

To start and troubleshoot, I would check all your wiring connections first and get Forscan so you can check the Baro and MAP parameters.
