Lower Radiator Hose Leak

How do you replace the lower radiator hose? I have a small drip of coolant coming from it and was curious if it’s something than can be done myself I attached a picture circling the blue hose I’m talking about also, what type of coolant should I top off with? It’s currently got a reddish orange coolant in it now View attachment 781513
Where did you find the diagram of the cooling system? I have been looking for detailed diagrams of the major 7.3L systems for years - this one is great!

That would be the SECONDARY cooling system - the system drain is located at the right side of the front tank.

FWIW - the orange coolant has been replaced by the Motorcraft "Yellow" coolant and can be mixed therefore no flushing is needed. Also, when replacing that hose, it will be easier to access if you remove the grill, headlamps and the headlamp/grill support. There is a temperature sensor in that hose which tend to leak.

And for the curious the image the OP posted comes from the 6.7L Coffee Table Book. Coffee Table Books - Diesel Technician Society (forddoctorsdts.com)
Phenomenal! Thank you - those coffee table books have some great graphics in them!
