Is there a disgram somewhere that shows where the ipr,icp and hpop is located on a 1996 7.3? This has been a good truck, still does not use any oil, has 300,000 miles on it and I can't find anyone to look at it. The oilfield boom down here has everyone locked up. If I can't do it myself I will junk it and start over.

The HPOP is located in the valley of the engine, right at the front cover. It's just to the front of the filter housing. There are 2 steel braided lines that are coming off of it, one runs to each head. These lines provide the high pressure oil to each bank/cylinder head.

If you look at each of the heads where the lines attach, this is your high pressure oil galley cast into the head. The ICP sensor is threaded into this rail. It moniters the high pressure oil pressure. It's a 3 wire sensor and I believe is located on the drivers side head, near the fuel bowl area.

The IPR is located in the high pressure oil pump. Locate where the 2 steel braided lines come out of the high pressure oil pump and it's just beneath that. It's a 2 wire connector going to it.

What's your issue?
