I'm trying to avoid picking up random lenses due to the fact that I've had issues in the past with them being a hair off and ruining lights. I'll check out the website for the lights though

Yeah their mixed reviews and horror stories make me want to steer clear of them. As far as Atomic goes, I have a set of their Amber/ Blue-flashing cab lights from my other truck. Problem is the lenses yellowed and I can't get them to send me a new set of smoked lenses :banghead:

EDIT: After a trip to their website, I see they now sell the lenses separately... :banging:

I like my vms racing cab lights.

Is it LED's and a lens in one kit or is it separate? How long have you had them?

i got a set of smoked lenses off amazon for pretty cheap and they seem to be good quality. I used some amber 194 leds i had laying around in my tool box, but would like to get better ones the color/brightness isn't that good.

 

They're Amber led and the lenses/bases are smoked/black. It's all one piece. Only issue with leds is if they go out you have to change the whole light assembly but they're only $10 for a replacement. But they also means taking down your headliner again and resealing the new light to the roof.

I've had them for 2 years so far and love how they look. Had a shop install them for me.

I'm using atomic led lights on my truck. LOVE them!!

 

Do you have the new "Platinum Edition" lights or the old style? I have the old style from my other truck so I'm thinking of using those since they're pretty bright.

 

Atomic LED full swap or use some JDM ASTAR LED bulb replacements.

Not cheap but WELL worth the money. Post pics when done.

 

Another one for Atomic.. nice setup with different flash patterns, can add extra lights if needed, ect.

 

I have the Recons and love them. Have never had any issues and their LED bulbs are much brighter than Atomic... :grin:
