After seeing some white smoke at idle and while towing, I decided to send my 2012 6.7l to a shop to get evaluated. My stock turbo was showing some early signs of failure so we decided to replace it.

Obviously a turbo upgrade is a big deal and can affect a lot about how the truck behaves. I’ve read a lot and asked questions, so in the end I decided to go with a stage 1 hoping for reliability. I also tow often, most of the time random stuff so weight varies. After doing my own researched, the shop also said this would be the best option for me and I haven’t been let down. The turbo was shipped out the day after we made the order and it came in within just a few days. I swear with my tune setup and this turbo my truck runs way smoother than with the stock turbo. Towing is a breeze and so far I have no complaints and the purchase of this turbo has only made me love my truck even more.
