I have 275/65/20 on my 01 F250 and am looking for tires. I ran across a good deal on some Ironman All Country A/T's and was wondering has anyone had any luck with these. Let me add that my truck is a 3rd vehicle and doesn't get much use and does not tow often at all. I don't want to break the bank on tires but also don't want something that will last 10,000 miles.

Any input is appreciated.

Just FYI, I see alot of those tires for sale around me in Utah...because they are dirt cheap for rugged looking tires...usually about $600-700 for a full set. I don't know anybody that has run them. Are they made in china? If so, I wouldn't touch them. If you haven't heard, the camper trailer tire world has been destroyed by all the china made tires. I wouldn't trust any type of tire coming out of that country...just personal preference though. No point risking life/injury/accidents to save a few hundred bucks. I would probably buy a used set of tires before going with china made tires!

Spend the $50 more per tire to get a name brand. Something that wont develop flat spots, crack, and actually last. These are heavy trucks by themselves vs anytime soneome hooks up a car/travel trailer etc. You can look online and find great deals on BFG, Cooper, General, Yokohoma, Toyo, the list goes on. I would avoid Iron man, Nankang, Vetura etc. Why risk the money/labor/headache all over what $400 maybe?

I tried cheap tires even on little cars and too this day I had ONE good experience with cheap tires. A crosswind brand on a little v6 car. Other than that nothing but headaches that cost me more in time/money in the end.

I did some research in those before buying my toyos, some light trucks had okay luck with them but the heavy diesel trucks had enough bad input that steered me away from it. Like said above, even when not towing these trucks are not light by any means

I ran the Iron Man m/t in 35x12.5 on 18"wheels. They were brand new when I bought my f250. The seller slapped them on. I know mileage between MTs and ATs varies a lot but dang... I've gotten better mileage out of super swampers lol. The iron mans were absolute garbage and at 13k miles knocking around town I was well under 50% tread. I went to BFG TA KO2s and have zero regrets and they will make 50k easy.

Just FYI I bought a set of Ironman ATs and got 49,374miles out of them. That's with no rotations and only an alignment at install. I also had two brake calibers seize and hit a deer during the 49k miles!

The brand is owended by Hercules Tire who is owned by America Tire Distributors [ATD]. ATD is a legit business not going anywhere!

I just ordered a new set of Ironman AT2s from tire buyer for under $700 shipped! These have a 50k warranty as well.

I highly recommend. Sorry to revive an old thread but there is no information on these tires and Superduty rigs. I'll post another photo of the tires at 49k tonight
