Is it the little wheel that controls the dimming and brightening of all in cab lights? On my trucks that wheel will turn the lights all on including the truck bed light.

 

No mine is a pull /push knob for the head lights and turn right to left for the dome light, no wheel.

Is door ajar light on? Had to replace switch to get my lights to turn off.

 

97 F-250 7.3 diesel, cab lights and exterior high mount lights will not shut off any ideas where to start chasing this rabbitt

 

Try turning the Main Light Switch fully in the clockwise direction. Rotating the switch in either direction will dim/brighten the dash lights and the click at the end of travel in the counterclockwise direction will turn on the cargo light and dome light (door open or closed). If that's not it, it could be the switch itself. Cheers!

 

Looks like your request has been moved into the OBS section. Hopefully someone here will have your answer. My experience is with the 99-2000 Super Duty's electrical. I don't have a clue regarding the OBS's systems.

 

Wondering if you found a solution. Im in the same boat, the ding sound keeps going off as well.

 

Try testing the main light switch per the attached. Also check the button switches in the door jambs for making/breaking continuity. Cheers!
