I have a 2000 F250 superduty, I want to upgrade the headlights and change the entire assembly. Does anyone have some recommendations on brands to use or stay away from? Thanks in advance

I went with the 2005 version Motorcraft lights and pigtails from Riffraff about a year ago. Easy and clean installation.
Huge upgrade from the old worn out faded assemblies.

Also welcome.
Also Also we need photos....

I bought my truck with aftermarket Harley lights, I recommend staying OEM. I’ll probably buy some OEM ones to replace them.

On this subject, does anyone have any recommendations on good quality LED lights to use? My truck had cheap LEDs installed when I purchased it as well. Also, anyone running the “brite box” from Riff Raff?

LED bulbs require a new housing to work well in these trucks. Some have luck but most have to cut and modify to "clock" the orientation of the led bulb in oem housing. Its $$$ to do right.

I did my 01 and 02 with factory Ford 05-07 lights. I put the 05-07 header panel in and 05-07 chrome package grill and bumper. everything but the grill came from ford. The grill is aftermarket.

I replaced mine with the '04 version. Added Sylvania SilverStar 9007 Ultra bulbs. Made a big difference.
Changed out the turn signal housings too. Put in Amber LEDs (Changed flasher to the electronic one (EP-27) to keep it from fast flashing.

At the risk of reactivating a somewhat old thread...

This one hits on one of my pet peeves - poorly designed LED replacement headlight bulbs.

I went through three or four sets on my F150 and the Mercedes sedan I used to have to find a set that patterned correctly. All of the sets were nice and bright, but the poorly patterned ones were hard on oncoming drivers. I could tell by the number of drivers who flashed their high beams on me when I had the low beams on.

I haven't gone there on my F250 yet.
