And all I can say is WOW this thing hauls a** now. finished up at 9 last night. My truck is running better then ever. srlxx and these injectors break my 37" tires loose at 35 mph no problem. wish I knew what my egts were but my pyro probe took a dump a few weeks ago. Got to admit these injectors on a stock 03 turbo are not as smoky as I thought they would be, im very happy. I went with rcd because there close to me and they were great to deal with and the injectors are even better. Unfortunately the company that did my headgaskets for me stripped out the back 3 the valve cover bolts on my passenger side so now I have to deal with that...

next step mtw stage 2 or a 62mm s300 what's your guys oppions on that?

Congrats on the injectors, I love my 175/30's. Lots of new turbo options coming down the pipe...have you read the thread Bryan posted about the KC 68 mm charger? Him and Charlie should both be in excess of 600+ HP which is impressive on 175's...though they use a 75% nozzle. Also barder makes a stage 3 (also 68mm compressor wheel) that oliver put down over 600 rwhp with. I'm testing the MTW madmax, working out good so far, but need to address some other things going on with the truck (torque converter and tune) before I can really give it a 100%honest appraisal. I ordered the same tune from Chris at tsd that Bryan and Charlie have, so hopefully that'll help, although the latest tune revision I loaded from Eric last night seems to be a huge improvement too.

Are you on stock gearing? I'm caught between 35/37" tires. I know my truck was waaaaay faster on 35's and stock turbo, and stock transmission/converter, hard for me to tell what's dragging me down the worst. I'm gonna regear it regardless, just don't know if I want to deal with 37's all the time or go back down to 35's with 4.10's.

yea I did see bryans thread, im thinking going non vgt but the 68 mm seems to work real good just the amount of some the truck has don't seem like it even needs that much turbo... but my tunes r not adjusted for 30% nozzles..

as far as the tires go I have some bald 37" right now so there more like 35s but my truck going of racing my buddies d max on stock injectors and water meth I pull on him more with 37s as apposed to 35s... idk maybe cuz it don't have to shift as fast and it hooks better? but I have 3.73 gears. I feel no need to change the gearing accept for the trans sake.

6.0 stroke, you said not smokey with 03 turbo, and tunes not adjusted for nozzles.

Get your tunes adjusted for the 175/30, the 03 turbo won't be able to clean them up on a fuel tune.

Lil pooh, maybe Tony can jump in here and correct me if I'm wrong but I think when a tune is modified for bigger injectors, mainly that involves pulling fuel in places not adding it. I believe it's tables of like percentages of fuel where WOT is 100% and less is less. So if at half throttle with stock tune the table is 50% fuel, now if you drop in 175s half throttle needs to be scaled back to be half throttle as to not overwhelm the turbo. Does that make sense? If I go back to stock my truck is uncontrollably smokey, my tunes for 155 correct that. Just sounded like maybe you were thinking about it bavkwards. I could be totally wrong but that's what I've gotten from my tuner and observed on my truck. As far as that goes, I have no idea how the OP is not seeing smoke. My guess is he probably is he just thinks its normal/cool and I bet the EGTs are HIGH!!

I get what your saying, I was just wondering if the OP was running a tune for stock injectors or tunes for 175cc.

Loving my 175/30's also...great choice!!
Stock tuning my Barder stg2 cleaned up very well. All tuning so far from Gearhead and TSD works well.. A few tweaks needed..I need some drive time...70 miles in the past month..lol.. I am towing with my set up...

Many great turbo options out there.. I would like to compare a stg 3 with my stg 2 but no complaints with mine at all.

I would suggest staying away from mtw until they ACTUALLY prove this new turbo..good luck... lmao

to get 155s most people just plug the spill ports which will dump a little more fuel on stock tuning.

To get up to 175s you have to do a little bit more and to take advantage of that extra 20cc you have to open up the pulse width farther than stock injector tuning.

I think everyone is right

I agree get a pyro and some tunes :thumb:

Hahahahaha and eventually that number equals expiration lmao...of the engine as well. I know I could hit 1900 on stock charger with full fuel tune on 175/30's.

I've have turned to the non vgt side of things and love it! No worries with electrical probs no sticky vanes ect. There are some great choices on vgt chargers and guys are making awesome power with them and from what I've read so far they have been pretty reliable. If u go non vgt make sure u go T4 turbo and upipes . Those adapter flanges restrict exhaust flow and are garbage in my opinion
I'm very eager to dip my toes in the non vgt realm. I gotta go for a ride when you get your dual pumps and injectors in. That thing is gonna scream with adequate ICP.
