I’m new to the diesel world and just bought a 2013 f250. Went and got it deleted and tuned with GDP tunes on the Ezlink auto agent 2.0. Without SOFT. So far I love it, it’s a whole different truck now. The guy that done the work on it put the 150hp on it and I believe the firm TCM file on it. I haven’t played with any other files yet or even plugged the Ezlink back in. All my driving consists of is driving to work which is about a 20min drive. Should I worry about running 150hp tune just for daily driving or should I bump it down. Some information and feedback would be great

You can run a higher HP tune as long as you realize there are limits (of sorts). You drop a 20K+ gooseneck on the back you better be smart about how you are driving it.

DD higher HP tunes isn't a problem. The problem is letting the truck learn how to function with the new tuning. It takes a week or so from my experiences to let the truck/transmission "learn" then it's safe to say if one "likes" the tuning.

At this point just drive the truck as much as you can. Let yourself learn how the truck feels and shifts thru the gears. If there's more fun than work in your life, load the higher HP tune now. There should be an option to clear the KAM (Keep Alive Memory) which is the "learning" from the previous drive cycles.

Oh yeah for sure. I like to take care of my stuff and make it last. It will be pulling a fifth wheel in its future. I have drove it about a week and half now with the 150hp tune on and everything seems to be great. It’s definitely a new learning curve with diesel. If you feel I should no some more important things shoot me a message
