Been looking for transmission parts, kits, complete trans etc...so far i only see NADP having the heavy hauler trans.....im not gonna be upgrading to a trans that can only hold 50-100 more than the current trans.

Does anyone have any info on when we will see something out of suncoast or ATS or anyone else?

If your going to DD it then I believe the stocker will hold. The trans on the 1700 ft/lb H&S truck didn't even break it just slipped once they got back down around 800 HP it locked back up and continued pulling. Or at least that is what I understand.

my plans are fairly aggressive;

replace factory turbo (not set on the replacement)
Industrial Injection CT kit
100HP Injectors
Fluidamper
Snow performance stage 3 kit
Elite Diesel Valve springs
Elite Diesel Head Studs
Elite Diesel pushrods
Elite Diesel Stage 1 camshaft
Carillo Rods

not in this order, as i will probably purchase some of the smaller items and have to save for the big stuff like rods, injectors and turbo goodies. i have a sinking feeling that the trans will not enjoy the daily abuse it will receive from a setup like this.

who knows maybe by the time i collect all the parts someone will have a trans.

Unless you start with giggle gas I still believe that the stocker will be fine. There was a 250 shot of giggle gas on the H&S truck. If H&S would not have done the torture test I would say that you need to upgrade it, but they proved a lot of things when they did that.

People keep talking about the H&S truck like that's the be-all, end-all. Sorry to say it, but i bet that transmission would let loose waaaaaay before those power levels were reached. Nice smooth application of power on a dyno where the driveline is stationary and nothing is being jolted, shaken, or having the geometry change is a far cry from what the actual application of that power is on the road. Also, ONE TRUCK has been tested for absolute failure. I would hardly trust those numbers. If there were ten trucks that they performed the same test on, and they all failed under similar conditions and at the same values, than the numbers would probably be trustworthy. But for now, i wouldn't be pegging anything to their results.

I agree that it is not definite proof of what all of the 6.7 can take, I also agree that any trans can let go for any reason at any time.

But staying in line with what you said - can the, known stout, 5R100 take that punishment even in a perfect scenario? No I don't believe so, not even for one run and we know how stout it is.

All I am trying to say is that it looks like ford has one bada$$ trans with this one and that it can handle a lot more than its predecessor. Even if it is in a perfect scenario.

you'll be fine with the mods you listed.. like said before its a stout transmission.. for a daily i can't see you running past 800HP

What serious motor mods are we talking about?
