Time for brakes....2008, F350, 6.4, SRW, 4wd, CC, LWB, 151K, original rotors and pads.
I pull 12,500lb 5th wheel (not including all the stuff that goes in it) a couple of times a year and it's time to change the rotors and pads in the rear. Fronts are still usable but will be due for replacement in the near future. I've been wondering if any of you have used drilled and slotted rotors. If so, were you satisfied?

Thanks for a comment/suggestion.

I have the powerstop brand performance pad and slotted rotors on my F150 Raptor, they are awesome. Very low dust, and improved stopping. The rotor are also plated or coated, so they are not rusting away.

I have OEM on my 6.4, lifted on 37s, and I like them a lot too. Last forever and low dust. Perform well enough for anything the truck was designed to do.

bought my truck in March last year knowing it needed brakes. The front/rear rotors were SHOT! and pads weren't any better, started reading and the stuff I ended up getting was a powerstop brand drilled/slotted rotor and pad kit. been 16k miles with light/heavy towing some even multy state and handling great so far, no squeaking on cold morning, very little dust and under $450 shipped from rockauto.

I ended up putting their pads on my wifes car too. I installed oem Toyota rotors at 175k and the pads were little to thin for my wifes car at least lol. Her car stops smoother and quicker noticeably too.

I wouldn't risk autozone or o riley brands. I tried them on my little commuter car and at 30k warped to crap so now I gotta get brakes and im gonna do the powerstop kit, maybe not drilled/slotted for a little v6 car but still same brand lol.

There are tons of options but Motorcraft was way to $$$ and powerstop was like a medium priced brand, more on the costly side but definitely not the super uber performance price haha.
