Obs trucks are 8x6.5 97-down

 

Yeah but I'm talking about the F-Superduty. Its like an F450 but its the old body style. The wheels have 10 lugs on them and the one I'm looking at has the quigley 4x4 conversion because these trucks were only available in 2x4.

 

If it has the 19.5 wheels it should have what they call the Bud wheel pattern which is a universal pattern shared by most all big trucks.

 

No is has steel 16" wheels. I was hoping I could find some 19.5s for it like off of a newer F-550. Thats why I'm trying to figure out what the bolt pattern is.

 

Don't know then sorry. Don't see alot of those trucks around anymore. The local tire shops used to run a fleet of those for there service trucks.

 

I believe the 99-newer 450/550 have 8 lugs, not the 10 bolt that you need

 

What he is talking about is the OBS F-SuperDuty trucks that had a 10 lug 16" wheel.

 

Old style Ford F-SuperDuty (10-7.25", 5.46" bore)

 

this style truck the red wrecker is a 1997 F-Superduty basically a obs truck with 10 lug wheels.. they do make aftermarket wheels for them

They have one in my town and it's written F450 Heavy Duty, not SD. If it can help.

 

If you do a search for 19.5 wheel adapters you will find what you are looking for I believe it is rickson wheel but I can not remeber they sell 19.5 or 22.5 wheels and or adapters to put them on. Though owning one of these trucks my self It is an 89 F-superduty gas, I run 235/85/16 12ply tires and they hold the same:dunno weight It towed an Elephant so pretty sure it should meet the requirements. Alcoa was the only wheel company to make the 10 lug 16 when I bought Mine. But no You will not be able to use the new 450 550 wheels.

 

The 1996 Ford F-450's with the Dana 135 (which is what the truck in question has) has a 10x225mm bolt pattern and a bore of 6.705"

This is what I do.

 

87-97 Fsuperdutys(F450) use a dana 80 axle with disc brakes
They came with 5.13s and 4.63 gear options, neither were limited slip
10 on 7.25" bolt pattern 5.46" hub hole. 5.35" offset
