Exhaust Tip Choice...

I have a 4" Flo Pro exhaust on my truck (full delete) and I never bought an exhaust tip for it. I figure I'd stick with flo pro.
- what's your thoughts of welded vs bolt on?
- did you have to cut any existing pipe to add on the tip? Or did you just slide it on what currently sticks out
- I'm wondering if y'all have any pics of your exhaust tips? That always makes the decision easier

Appreciate the help

I say bolt on, always... no need to limit yourself in the future. Like lowmpg said, they're all the same. I say go cheap. I personally think +1" over your exhaust size is the way to go. I'll post a pic of mine here in a bit but, again, it's nothing super special.

Unless I'm mistaken mine was 16" or so. I would go longer; you can always slide it further up the tail pipe to get your desired look. Here's a couple crappy pictures.

I'm with these guys, just go with an ebay/amazon bolt-on. And if your truck is stock height/tires a 6" would look perfect. If it's lifted or has 35's or bigger, maybe an 8". My 6" tip looked massive when I got it, then I put it on the truck and it looks like a stock tailpipe on a gas truck :( Also, definitely get a 16" or longer, I hate how short my 12" looks on these big a$$ trucks!!

I was in the same dilemma.. I had bought a Flo-Pro tip at the same time I put the exhaust on the truck. Couldn't make up my mind about the tip because the stainless looked fine to me and I didn't want to cut a chunk off to put the tip on. Anyways, this past weekend I ended up cutting a bit off and put the tip on. Mine is 7" and 15" long and looks great. It is black so I'm not sure how the coating will hold up with the tire throwing rocks at it. I'll have to get a picture
