Expect a worse ride overall as you add on miles. Any compound that has a durometer rating higher than OEM rubber will enhance the ride vibrations and road hits to the frame...hence your seat....hence a horrible ride.

S&B has a new line of body mounts made out of a silicone compound
I have no idea how well they function but they might turn out to be the future

S&B 600 bucks but looks like it comes with all new hardware ?

 

The guy I talked to at S&B said the kit includes all the factory hardware for the application
And $600 is about the same as doing all new OEM with hardware

Ummmmmmmmm........not so much. As always it's going to depend on the manufacturing process and final product specifications. Not to mention costs compared to the OEM.

If I wanted my cab mounts to survive an Arctic or a Death Valley type environment then maybe silicone rubber would be a good option.

well IIRC OEM is north of 500 for just bushings ? so I think this S&B thing may be what we have all been hoping for ?

 

And if you have leaf springs the updated OEM position 2 lower bushings hit the spring rear shackle bolt
