anyone running these, looking at the 355-4.4124G poly set, wondering if they fit any better than the daystars which seen to have a lot of slop from what I have read and seen photos of.
Anyone seen the energy suspension ones?

Expect a worse ride overall as you add on miles. Any compound that has a durometer rating higher than OEM rubber will enhance the ride vibrations and road hits to the frame...hence your seat....hence a horrible ride.

S&B has a new line of body mounts made out of a silicone compound
I have no idea how well they function but they might turn out to be the future

The guy I talked to at S&B said the kit includes all the factory hardware for the application
And $600 is about the same as doing all new OEM with hardware

Ummmmmmmmm........not so much. As always it's going to depend on the manufacturing process and final product specifications. Not to mention costs compared to the OEM.

If I wanted my cab mounts to survive an Arctic or a Death Valley type environment then maybe silicone rubber would be a good option.

Such information posted below is not an expert scientific assessment on the product but should be enough for most people to use in making any informed decision.

Silicone rubber offers good resistance to extreme temperatures, being able to operate normally from −100 to 300 °C (−148 to 572 °F). Some properties such as elongation, creep, cyclic flexing, tear strength, compression set, dielectric strength (at high voltage), thermal conductivity, fire resistance and in some cases tensile strength can be—at extreme temperatures—far superior to organic rubbers in general, although a few of these properties are still lower than for some specialty materials. Silicone rubber is a material of choice in industry when retention of initial shape and mechanical strength are desired under heavy thermal stress or sub-zero temperatures.[7][8][9] Organic rubber has a carbon-to-carbon backbone which can leave it susceptible to ozone, UV, heat and other aging factors that silicone rubber can withstand well. This makes silicone rubber one of the elastomers of choice in many extreme environments.

Hi. So regarding the s&b silicone mounts, see they have a lifetime warranty. Where are you finding them for 600? Every search comes up 699
