EGR Delete Plugs

I recently installed the EGR block-off plates on a 2015 F250. Many blogs state that there are 3 plugs to disconnect, however I am only halfway certain on one of them. I say "halfway" because when I unplugged it immediately after the install, the truck ran horribly. I then reconnected the plug and only noticed a ~5-6 acceleration delay with the pedal depressed.
I have looked for specific pics that show the exact plugs to disconnect on the 2015 6.7. Most blogs show 2 plugs with the orange housing, however, there seems to be only one on the 2015. I took some pics to show what plugs I thought may be the correct ones, however I am not 100%. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I went out to the garage and took some pics of the three plugs I disconnected on my 2015. First one has a white dot on it, second one has a blue dot on it and the third one is just above the flashlight beam. Maybe this will help.

One question, on the last photo, I was under the impression that the plug there stayed connected and that it was attached to the block-off plate that measures exhaust temp.

Also, I really appreciate you taking the time to go out and snap a pic. I'm really trying to learn as much as I can and the forum members here have been exceptional. Much thanks.

No problem.

No the EGT sensor connector is a bit further back towards the cab.

Being in the engine compartment they should stay fairly clean but you could tape the ends and zip tie them out of the way. I've also seen people use tiny ziploc bags and tape those over the plugs.

And yes..... the one by the fan shroud is tough to get to. I couldn't get my hands in there and ended up using two screwdrivers.

i left them plugged in. they are shut off in the tune. dont un plug the ones on the plastic upper intake manifold, that is your map sensor, the one behind it is your exhaust back pressure sensor.

unplug the Brown connector to the EGR if you want to be able to return to stock ! - It only took 20 min testing to burn mine up on tune that shut it off , you will end up with EGR codes when back to stock - valve stuck open and/or p0490 and need a new EGR valve , around 200$

do what DayTrader suggests

that is the point of blocking exhaust gasses from entering the cooler. I think you might be talking about the guys who dont block it off, of course it will get fouled with soot. I would rather have the by pass and the valve moving than sitting dormant for years. Not to mention leaving the connectors unplugged is an invitation to corrosion.

I unplugged the three plugs that FX showed. The last one was orange also. I pack the ends with dielectric grease. If the end is free and you have some room - like the connector has a few inches of wire on it - uou can also wrap it all up with electrical tape. I even thought about then dipping it in Plastidip to really seal it well (still removable). For the connectors that are hard to get to, I packed them with dielectric grease, then covered them with the black vinyl push-on caps to further protect them.

what is the brown connector you guys are talking about? I did the block-off with the 4 plates - do I need to be concerned about this?
