Whats going on everyone im thinking about doing a egr delete here soon anyone know of a good delete kit to go with? And any recommended tuners for a 04 f350? Thanks in advance

Not being done anymore as it is illegal to do. Nobody tunes for it and tune writers (SCT X4, etc.) won't do deletes.

The kits are very simple. Find one on ebay or anywhere on google. Tuning will be a different story though. Look north is all I can say. Getting harder and harder to find them. You do not need a tune though for the delete.

No tune CEL light will be on constant. Not really a good situation - if a "real" CEL condition arises you won't know. Just my opinion.

If I understand correctly I think the early ones won't but like mid 05 and up will. Or vice versa. It's not a 100% that it will but it is like 90% chance of throwing the CEL

Honestly, I would just spend the money for a BPD EGR cooler and call it a day. Money well-spent IMO, and tunes are still readily availble! If my EGR cooler ever fails, that's the route i'm going.

That's the route I'm going with my wife's Ex. I'm stuck with mine not being able to get updates on tunes due to deleted. Sucks as would be nice to have tunes updated to take full advantage of KC 1.5 turbo. Especially for tow tunes.

I run a welded EGR cooler and left the EGR in place. No CEL light on my 05 Excursion.
