Was getting ready to pull the trigger on an IPR EGR delete kit for my '03 6.0 that's been fully Bulletproofed, but just caught that it might not be compatible with the oil cooler setup? If true, what's the next best thing?

Thanks so much guys. Sorry if this has been covered already

I love the S3R intake and would love to get one, but you don't need to spend that much. A freeze plug, a spool plug or a tack weld on the EGR valve and a couple of pieces of plate aluminium will block off the intake, but you still need to re-route the coolant coming out of the oil cooler. I tee'd mine back in under the degas bottle, but I've got the BPD remote oil cooler so it was easy. Getting a hose to stay on the little nipple at the oil cooler might be a little more difficult. They do sell a re-route kit though.

And I have to throw in the option for the environmentally conscious people.

You can also weld stainless plugs in your EGR coolers exhaust ports and reinstall. Don't forget to lop off passenger up pipes baffle for shoving half that sides exhaust into your now dead ended EGR cooler.
All looks in place as if you were a saint doing your part keeping our planet blue. Green or what ever damn color you want to see it as.

But its all a sham and the trucks looking good and no longer sucking inoxygen free exhaust gases for another round of combustion thus reducing the count of hydrocarbons ppm because you cant burn molecules of fuel twice.

Okay enuf of this.

Until I bought my s3r intake I sealed off my egr cooler with freeze plugs on both ends. Worked fine. What state are you in so you have to worry about emissions?

FWIW I had the BPD HD oil cooler kit with a deleted EGR and a stock intake manifold before I got the S3 intake.
It all works together no problem.
