E-Brake problem

Good morning everyone, last week I had my e-brake shoes replaced by a local shop that I have used for years (due to not having a lift of my own)
Why would you need a lift to do any of those repairs?

I read that the Motorcraft brake shoes hold better than aftermarket ones since they use a softer material, I put them on mine and it works a little bit better, sometimes it holds great and sometimes it doesn't, sounds like I may need to try Motorcraft rotors as well. I use my parking brake all the time since it is a manual.

ha ha ha....

4x4s can STOP much better than a 2wd, right? ha ha ha :D

on the last Ice Storm, we had 2 inches of glare ice on the local roads, my daughter is a Rural Mail Carrier and the little Pontiac Vibe would not stay out of the ditch.
I ordered Studded Tires/Wheel and that fixed her up.

She called me, and I took the 4x4 Suburban to where she landed, we transferred all the mail and packages to the Suburban, and I had to keep it in the Center/Crown of the roads, or it would swiftly slide down into the ditches. Even after a Full Stop, it would start creeping down, down, down.
4x4 actually does help you stop, there has been several tests done to prove it.

Did those tractors help with getting your parking brake to work right?
