Cleaning Exhaust Filter/Drive To Clean message never going away

I bought a 2012 F-250 with the 6.7L powerstroke engine used about a year ago. Former work truck, engine shows about twice as many idle hours on it as active hours. Has about 225,000 miles on it now, the last 10,000 or so from me.

I've had an issue recently where the "Drive to clean exhaust filter/Cleaning exhaust filter" message has been on constantly for about a month now. I do do a lot of short trips in this truck, but it gets out on the highway frequently enough that I haven't had an issue before now. Since that message has been on I've done three or four 30+ minute trips on the highway, including one where I was hauling a heavy-ish load and that hasn't cleared the message.

I have a copy of Forscan, and this is what I have checked so far:
  • I have a couple of DTCs set for fuel injector A offset learning at max limit (P02D7:00-E8, P02D3:00-EC, P02D1:00-EC, P02D1:00-EC for cylinders 6, 4, 3 and 2, all intermittent) and my DEF heater circuit (P20B9:00-EC). No other DTCs for sensors not working properly.
  • My exhaust temperatures are increasing to the 4-500C (750-950F) range according to Forscan
  • I've run a manual regeneration. Forscan reported that the exhaust filter was only about 20% full (don't recall the exact percentage) and the truck spent 45 minutes out in my driveway very loudly converting dead dinosaurs into greenhouse gases. My exhaust temperatures did not go above 250C during the manual regeneration.
  • I've been under the truck to look for loose connections and didn't see anything
At this point, I'm stuck on what to do next (and I don't want to delete). I've seen reports of people washing the particulate filter out with a power washer, but I don't really want to take the filter out if I don't have to (seems to be a pain) and with Forscan only showing it at 20-some percent full I'm not sure that'll fix my issue.

Just wondering at this point, what else should I check? Or is it time to take it to the dealer.

Edit to add: I have not gotten the "Drive NOW to clean exhaust" or whatever the message is before the truck goes into limp mode.

250C isn't going to do it. You need about twice that temp to think about burning soot. If your DPF needs cleaning then your temp sensors might be coated with soot and not reading properly. You may try replacing some of them first to get a true temp profile even though you dont have any codes. I say this because your exhaust temps didnt go up even though you did a static regen and you mentioned

this in itself is strange

That's one of the things that confused me. The temps didn't push past 250C during the static regen, but I was looking on my drive home from work today and the 11 sensor hit 350C, the 12 sensor got north of 600C and the other two were over 500C.

There's a place in town that cleans them, looks like that may be my best option then.

you really need to sort out the DTCs first. they could be causing your regen issue.
Yeah this is true and I forgot to emphasize this at the end of my prevoius post. Some clean at home kits use the EGT probes as access points for injecting the cleaning solution. Might as well inspect the probe when it is out
