This isn't our first Excursion; quite the contrary. An old friend of Sage Carli's (Tim Sanchez) dragged him into the market years ago when he required a better suspension system than what was available for his Excursion at the time. He needed to carry 6-8 passengers and equipment down some of the gnarliest roads Baja has to offer. Enter Carli...

Carli Spec'd Deaver Leaf Springs, Carli Tuned Custom King 2.5" Shocks and ALL Carli hard parts. Details will follow as we finish product pictures but we're VERY happy with the result.

Everything from the front end should fit the SD platform, the rear shock mounts will not and bags are a question mark. We also have SD specific tuning. We have not put the products on a new SD to confirm all the aforementioned yet so i cannot say for sure or sell it until we do.

Edit: Wheels and tires are 35" Toyo R/T on 17" Method NV

What's the size and backspacing on those wheels? That truck is not a coil-spring conversion, it still has the leafsprings in the front. They use a naorrower axle and less backspacing from the factory. Isn't stock backspacing like 4.5" or less?

4.75 - 4.5 is about all you can run on a leaf sprung truck without rubbing the leaf springs. The newer coil sprung axles run about 1.25" wider per side.

Spending that much on a lift and not doing a coil sprung conversion seems odd to me, but it's still pretty freaking awesome.

This kit will probably run about $6k and bolts on in a weekend with full detailed instructions.

A coil spring conversion with new axles and all of the brackets ,additional work, and a suspension kit that would ride and perform like this would run "most guys" $8-10K and be quite a bit more involved from a labor/part procurement standpoint. For a guy with a lot of time on his hands, lots of tool, and a ton of mechanical ability a coil conversion with '05+ axles would definitely be sweet. But it may be out of the capabilities and time availability of many customers.

Lifted Excursion roll(over) resistance?

Hi folks... I think this kit raises the front/rear of this vehicle 4.5/2.5 inches respectively. Versus a stock vehicle, what impact does this have on the rolling (attitude) resistance of the vehicle and the potential rollover likely-hood vs stock? on 35 inch tires?). Looks like another nicely designed Carli kit. Thanks for the responses and HAPPY 2016!
