Was wondering what the best way to level out a 2004 ford f250 is. I plow with it in the winter but I would prefer to keep the ride quality close to normal because it is a work truck as well as a every day driver.
It has leafs in the front. Feel free to post links to what you guys bought as well.

Thanks! :)

i have recently purchased a like vehicle, i am between spending big money for a coilover conversion, or just doing a shackle/ hanger lift with the stock leafs. by doing the second, i can achive upto 4" with very minimal work. you can look for a shackle hanger up front, and a shackle flip for the rear, and all stock ride is achieved, the only added pieces will be shocks, and an adjustable track bar. if you choose a similar route, be cautious of how the track bar is handled. you DO NOT want a drop bracket if the pitman arm is untouched, if a drop pitman arm is recommended, then a track bar drop bracket needs to match. keeping the track bar and steering arm in line is the key to no bumpsteer.

If its a 4x4..

Have you measured to see what height you need?

Best ride quality will always be from using a V code factory spring. You can get a hanger lift in 2,3 and 4.5" which will enhance the ride quality by giving additional travel.

If you want new springs and 2" and the best ride quality get X code springs will ride better than any lift spring. They are made for plowing.

As always a 2" lift needs longer shocks and requires a adj track bar or a correctly made drop bracket to correct the axle that has now shifted 1/2-3/4" per 2" of lift. Its geometry.. a science. The axle shifting will side load your spring bushings which will cause premature failure and doglegging.
