What's the best tuner for a bulletproof 6.0?

I was always led to believe that the SCT’s were the way to go. I have no experience with any other brands, and I didn’t even buy my own SCT, the place I bought my truck threw and X4 in when I bought it. I only run the canned tunes, most often the trans only tune. I also like the way the interface is set up.

SCT with custom tunes from quick tricks (my trucks preference), gearhead, truck source diesel or innovative #end of thread [emoji23]

We got the Bully Dog tuner and I'm pleased. I can't give you comparative performance with other tuners, though, or before/after diesel mileage since we bought the truck and took it pretty much straight to the shop for bulletproofing. I will say that the Bully Dog seems simple to use, gives clear feedback, and it's nice that we can set a driving mode (trailering, performance or extreme, as I remember) then disconnect the tuner. I just have to reconnect it and change the mode when I go to pull the trailer.

The shop told me, when I was debating the tuner, that they've often offered to install it, then take it off and give the money back if an owner didn't like it. Never gonna happen - I don't know if it's a result of the 4" pipes we installed, but this thing accelerates and sounds like a drag racer! And that's on the Performance mode, which is the better mileage mode. I've never had a pickup before so I don't know what's normal, but this thing is a long bed king cab F-350, a big truck, and with this tuner the thing makes you smile if you need to step on it. So - a tuner is probably a pretty good investment and I'll bet you're happy with whatever you select.
