It's just a stock turbo with a 1.0 exhaust housing and a e99 compressor wheel. There are way better turbos out there for the price.

 

i was hoping it was aluminum.

 

if you want a 1.0 housing the vendors can get you a 1.0 housing and outlet for around 300.

the banks stuff is way overpriced.

 

Why do you want aluminum

 

You will never find an aluminum exhaust housing on a turbo.

The only thing Banks I would ever buy is there Technicooler intercooler.

If you going to go this far with a billet wheel, housing and all the other stuff, by the time to spend the money, you may as well just get a KC Turbo STG1 $1190.

It already has everything you are looking for but with a .84 exh housing and is a bit bigger to grow with a bit larger injectors and has a WARRANTY.

Or you could do the DIY kit for $850

 

I had one on my truck. I liked it. It had more power then the stock. It was putting out about 25psi. you may be able to tighten the wastgate down a more and get some more boost out of it. I swapped it out with a 38R. The 38R has more lag off the line then the banks it seems like. I am selling it if you are interested. It only has about 20,000 miles on it.

 

Also you have to take into account your mods. I have the banks 1.0 housing right now. I'm also running 35" tires, 3.73 gear and have a standard. This combo does not work well together.

 

I'll have 265s on it. It's got 3.73 gears. Not getting lifted or nothing. I might go up to 285s and that's about it. How much are you looking to get for your used one?
