Does anyone know anything about the Banks iDash Super Gauge and or have any experience with them on our 7.3 Super Duty? I've been looking at them recently and I'm looking for some first hand knowledge/experience before I spend some hard earned cash. I would really appreciate it. Thanks folks.

All I'm looking to do is monitor. I'm really not interested in data logging or tuning. I do have a T-6 chip installed but I never move it from the second position. I was looking at the Banks as a possible way of avoiding a whole bunch of different gauges all over the dash.

I got a CTS2 but yeah I don't feel the need to buy Banks anything. Aren't those iDash things pretty small? I don't have bad eyesight but the CTS3 has a good sized screen for easy visibility.

to me, iDash is klutzy and cannot display as many items as most people want on their display.

also, Banks is hugely Over Priced, he thinks he is the God to all things automotive.

I bought the CTS-3 with the free EGT probe

just this last week, I also ordered up the AFR gauge from down under.

I did that as a backup to know that the EGTs and the fuel were not going too lean.

No personal experience with the Banks. I have run several of the Edge insight cts2 and 3 units, and really like them. They are capable of reading and displaying a lot of data, read and clear trouble codes, and have the ability to add on lots of additional sensors, even a backup camera.

Welcome Eric and thanks. I guess I should explain my goal. I'm looking for the best possible way to monitor what's going on, ie, trans temp, boost, egt, ect, without having to have gauges scattered all over the cab of the truck. Keeping things neat and organized is part of the goal. This is our forever truck so it's also important that my wife is able to understand what's going on with it and handle it should something happen to me. We live very remote so she needs to be able to depend on the truck. So that's my goal. We're also on somewhat of a budget so keeping things simple and as inexpensive as possible is also a priority. Being retired disabled military has us on somewhat of a fixed budget.
