Has anyone thats done a 2wd to 4wd conversion used a NP205 transfer case ? Especially on a CCLB w/auto trans. I'm gonna do a conversion and have a couple of questions about the drive shafts.

2 questions. Did you use flanges or u-joint yokes on the np205 ? And if your rear driveshaft is 2 piece were you able to mount the np205 in a position so the center support bearing could be eliminated ?

you're not doing a divorced t case right ? so the position of the t case is the centerline of the transmission
you should be able to eliminate the 2 piece DS ,, do you have a 205 yet ?
have you found a flange mount ? Thats what I would aim my 2 cents ;-)
There are several rebuilders on the web with Ford style NP205. They can put any coupler I want > 1410 u-joint yoke , 1410 flange , flat 4 bolt flange small or large dia , splined shaft for slip yoke. I am planing on 1410 u-joint yoke at all 3 places.the front shaft will be a 2 piece. The transmission to T-case will be slip at trans and u-joint at T-case. I was thinking the T-case could be positioned so the first part of the rear shaft could be elininated at the center u-joint and mated to the output 1410 yoke on the rear shaft. I saw a few NP205 on youtube with u-joint yokes at all the T-case places. The guy in the youtube video has U-joint yokes in all 3 places. The rebuilders can install the splined shafts in all 3 places. Theres a mounting kit on ebay and cable shifter made for twin sticking.
