SCT is closed till Monday so does anybody here know how to fix the touch screen so I can return my vehicle to stock? The touch screen seems to think I'm hitting it about 1/4-1/3 inch higher than I really am so I can't hit the buttons on the bottom.

Things I already tried
1. restarting several times
2. tapping randomly on the screen hoping it would think I hit something
3. updating
4. factory reset but was unable to since it's buttons are on the bottom

Thanks in advance

My SCT Livewire is doing exactly the same thing. I got it to stock tapping the screen on the bottom with the eraser off a pencil. Right now I don't want to load a tune into the truck cause I'm afraid I wont be able to go to stock again. I sent an email to SCT about a week ago, and still not response. Hope the pencil works for you.

Tried with the eraser and that didn't work, looks like I'm calling them Monday.

Just tried the Nintendo Wii stylus and that didn't work :crying: . Looks like I get to have another fun conversation with SCT support.

$65 and I already purchased an Edge CTS2 + EGT probe ($450 amazon) to replace the livewire, the reason I needed to return the truck to stock was to switch to my X4 (bought it used for $175).

This may be an old thread but it pulls up first when searching the web for repair. I was able to repair mine today 06/17/2023 in all of 30 minutes by replacing the screen. These screens are the same screens that were used in GPS units. I was able to find one on eBay for ~$30. Just matched up the part number found on the back, looked at the pictures of it and it worked like a champ. Not sure how to add pictures or videos to show the result.

Edit: Here's a link to a couple short videos of it work and what it looks like inside.

What was the part number on the back of the screen? I tried to look up mine but nothing comes up.
