Hello all,
I'm in the market for some airbags, dont know much about brands. Anyone have recommendations for airbags? And lift kits? I would like a 3 to 4 inch lift.

Thanks,
Brendon

I run the airlift airbags (5000 series I think) with a rancho 4" lift. It rides rough overall. Not necessarily because of the bags. Rides fine when towing though.

The bags sit on the leaf block tang and inside of the frame rails. Travel is pretty limited this way (sitting on tang). I wish I would've gotten the bags with internal jounce/bump stop since my truck doesn't have one.

Current plan is to switch to Carli lift kit with full springs. Adding Daystar cradles as well.

This setup (carli with full springs) eliminates the lift block altogether. The Daystar cradles mount to the axle and allow the bottom of the bag to disconnect from the mount allowing full suspension droop.

Lift kits vary in price. Not sure what kind of budget you have or if youre chasing a certain tire size.

Thanks for all the info man. Not really looking for a tire size as long as I can get 35s. I would like to not break the bank but I've been saving up so I can go higher if it's worth it. 2 main things I want are my truck to sit about 3 inches higher and some airbags to level the truck when towing heavy. I've been looking hard at PMF lift kits. They are based out of Tucson, AZ so it's close to me.

I have Air Bags and they do prevent sag when the fifth wheel goes on. Empty I inflate to 5 PSI and towing 11k I inflate to 65 PSI. I have forgotten to inflate from 5 to 65 a couple of times, and have noticed no difference on the road. When I remember to inflate them, I think I feel a difference.

One thing that was recommended to me is Timbereens. Those go on the springs and can be set based off how much you tow.

I have been to PMF a few times and Trevor is a site sponsor I recomend Him as well

I run the Airlift 7500 bags on an over the spring mount and the Daystar cradle

but you can not buy any of the parts I use other than the bags and I run Timbrens that use a hitch pin to set height but that also is a one off setup ;-)

You live down here in Southern Arizona too? How would I go about contacting Trevor? I tried searching and nothing popped up?
Sounds like a nice setup you have. Happen to have any pictures?
