Does anyone know the size of the exhaust manifold to block bolts?
I believe they are m8 x 1.25 but i do not have the lenghts.
The manifolds are a bit different- one has the bolt head mating surface at about 40mm from the block surface and the other is about 50mm.
So are the bolts same length left and right sides?
How much should or can the bolt thread into the block?
Is 6 point or 12 point recommend?
Thanks

Thanks DieselDC
I am looking for the specs because i wanted to go with ARP stainless with black oxide finish.
Mine- which are the oem originals are barely there- so rusted, I want to do it once and never worry about the rust again.
Service manual says 30mm under head but no way- that doesn't even reach the block. Perhaps 30 mm into the block?
I know i will find out but i wanted to be ready to install the new manifolds when old is removed with no delay on the new hardware.
I do see they are 6 point! 😀
