Anyone running a Sct with Tyrant tunes or a H&S with SPE tunes? What's your take on what's better. I just recently purchased a 2013 f350 with Egr delete mbrp 4" exhaust S&B intake and a xrt pro. I'm not liking it. Currently running the performance tune with transmission tune and its a mess. Hard shifts, stuttering, and flairs. I've been doing some research on the web and in my research for the 6.7 the best names for knowledge in tuning have been Tyrant and SPE. Thoughts and recommendations greatly appreciated.

For starters, reinstall your tune - with performance for the engine tune, and STOCK for the trans tuning. You'll find that much much better.

Tyrant tunes are the cat's *** right now for the 6.7 single flash tunes.

Tyrant tuning FTW. I absolutely love my tunes. I run the street tune all the time and it's been perfect. Nice clean tune, only smoke I get is when I romp on it and she starts spooling. Even then it's a little puff and cleans right up.

You might want to start your own thread with that question, I don't see how it pertains to this one.

Turbo failure was not caused by egr deletes...

on 11-14 MY turbos, they failed due to people who ran tunes (specifically early H&S tunes) that were pushing too much boost for the turbo, in excess of 28 psi, and it would over time overspin and cook the ceramic bearing inside and the turbo would fail.

Not an issue anymore, most if not all tuners don't throw quite so much boost at earlier trucks. 15-16 trucks don't have that issue, new upgraded turbo for them.

Trans shifting on my gear head tunes is spot on, nice and firm with no flares. They have recently released sotf but I haven't called up no limit to get them yet. If it matters to you at all no limit has a much better soft switch for the x4... plug n play vs the others that you have to splice in.
