Got the truck about 4 months ago and it started making a metal tapping noise. It'll go from very noticeable to barely being able to here it. And gets louder when putting the truck in gear. The tapping goes with Rpms of the engine. Any input would be great thx in advance.

Video? Is it all the time or only when fully warmed up? Is it coming from the driver side wheel well?
Sounds like the "typewritter" noise a lot of modern diesels have. Grab a video, but if it is what described you probably have nothing to worry about. You will hear it mostly after a fresh oil change, and will go away after about 1000-1500 miles.
