Hey folks,
I've been searching the forum for egr delete kit advice. Most of the threads are about 10 years old. Are there any companies that still make egr delete kits? I've looked at several websites, but don't see much. Mostly undelete kits. If so, what do you recommend? I live in Northern Nevada, so no worries about smog compliance. Thanks in advance.

IPR Research has the highest quality deletes. I ran one for a long time. When I moved from Gardnerville to California, I had to delete the delete.

I made a quick video that showed how to make plugs (input, output, or both) that will not fail as the old freeze plug trick had done, and since they are not welded, you can change back if you ever needed to for emission testing. This allows the EGR cooler to be in place if you have a visual emissions inspection in your area.

The bigger issue will be if your model year has programming that does not play well with an EGR delete.

Vince has been super helpful and responsive for me over the years. He is located in Los Angeles area.

Edit: I noticed he doesn’t list the delete item, but I bet if you talk to him, he can set you up. EPA has gotten viscious.

I had a feeling that might be the case. I will do that. Thanks for the heads up.
