Ok everyone, having some issues and looking for guidance. As it sits, I have a TFT sensor out which isn't a big deal but is going to be felt with. Before the sensor went out, when going from park to drive, park to reverse, or drive to reverse, there is a bit of a delay and when it finally goes into gear, it slams into gear and sometimes disengages the gear and does it again. Is that a valve body issue or solenoid ?

i had the exact issue you are having to a T. replacing the line pressure control solenoid fixed it. my tranny now shifts and engages like when it was new. relieved as i thought i may be headed for a new tranny. replace the solenoid- 80 buck or so, but is a pain to change. the whole solenoid body has to come out.

Have the same issue here as well.
Forward delayed. Then reverse engages, then kinda slips then pops in to back up.
Also at a set of lights, the odd time, it'll start off in second or 3rd gear (what it feels like) then kinda clump into 1st and continue as usual.
