Curious if you 2020 F250 owners have anything different to say vs what this article tries to point out.

Personally, I have an F450 and could not be happier with MPG, turning radius, handling (especially when towing), and overall styling...

What i find funny is the videos in the article. Both of which are overall positive reviews of the truck.

I think someone just hates fords.... Poor turning? Obviously they never drove a 7.3.

I have a 19 550 and my father has a 19 f450 lariat. Both with 6.7s. Other than the exhaust/DEF crap we both like the trucks.

Look at what other trucks you have to compare it to and that's not saying much. Ford, GM, and Ram all have serious quality control issues these days, GM being the worst in my opinion.

OK. First mistake is counting on Consumer Reports for this analysis. They’re trying to compare drivability to a sedan.
I’m a member of CR, and you have to take their analysis of automobiles with a grain of salt. The purpose built vehicles don’t fit the “average “ car expectations they have. Cornering and fuel economy??? Yeh, that’s not why we buy a Super Duty.

Now what they are good at, is cataloging long term repair trends.

How about that attached article with Ford’s new Harley edition 3/4 ton gasser listing for upwards of 111k! I think that pretty much spells out Ford’s pricing structure for today’s trucks...

Yea. These idiots declare something like a Dodge truck of the year or best buy, or whatever. When you read the articles, you see they rate it by how many gadgets you get for the price and maybe throw in that the seats are comfy.

This sort of thing is why I stopped reading gun magazines about 15 years ago. An article would declare a gun the best of the best, only to say it was a table top review and the gun wasn't actually fired.

I ordered & purchased a 2020 F250 Superduty King Ranch after reviewing all the "other" options available. Ford provided all and more than I was looking for. Reviewed the video clip, but like other responses, it was perceived as more Positive vrs Negative. Sure the other have features that are better, but not the overall package. I wanted the retractable steps (factory installed) - GM provided it on the Denali, but they would not provide the chrome package. Sure GM has a carbon fiber bed, where Ford is aluminium (the whole body is aluminum), but the load and towing specifications, including the torque produced by the Durmax option. The RAM has a bigger screen, and a more comfortable ride, but does not offer the camera options. My only dissatisfaction with the purchase is the Dealer (Goush Ford - never go back there) and FMCO follow up. After 8,000 miles (3000 towing), I find it quite comfortable, sufficient power, and an overall great feel.
