I am looking at buying a 2008 F-250. It has 100,888 miles on it. It has 4 inch exhaust, EGR delete, S&B cold air intake and a programmer. I have a couple of questions, first how do i find out if it really has EGR delete on it? Second the programmer says nDASH on it, I am wondering how i could find what tune is on the truck? I have been doing some research on it and when ever I look up nDASH it takes me back to spartan tunes.

Thanks

To help answer your questions I have attached some photos.

Let's start with the EGR.

Photo 1: Stock/untouched engine.

Photo 2: This is a true EGR Delete with also removing the coolers and not blocking them off.

Photo 3: This is the most common of them all. The EGR is still there but the coolers have been removed and blocked off.

With that being said the tuner you have mentioned is a Spartan turner and any DPF off tunes will shutdown the valve and lock it in the open position. Now I dont have the Ndash Tuner but I would imagine that you could find the tune that is installed by going to the "Tuning" section and there possibly could be a "vehicle information" button or a "version" button that will tell you the tune file loaded.

I hope this helps you out.
