Just got a Livewire TS from Vivian and loaded the tunes from her on the unit and proceeded to the truck to transfer it over. I'm new at the process but just watched the screen for directions. Everything seemed to load good. I wasnt thinking and left the lights on during the upload and some other tinkering. When I went to start the truck it would not turn over it just flashed all dash lights and went dark. I shut the key off and tried again and same result. I then checked the voltage on the TS and it was reading 8-9 so I got the tractor out to just it and charge the batteries. The batteries are year old everstarts in the truck when I bought it. Theyre only rated at 650 CCA @0* so I dont think they are really addequate for a diesel around here. I had been having to crank a few more seconds on cold mornings than what I felt was appropriate before this all happened so I was in the process of buying new batteries. Well I never could get the voltage to increase while jumping the batteries. My cables seem fine. I did not start the truck since Monday at about Midnight and this all happened about 24 hours later. Im worried I fried something messing with the tuner, but then I am hoping the batteries were just bad and between letting it sit for a full day in 30* weather and then letting it sit with high beams on for 15 minutes is the reason it wont crank or even take charge. Any help or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks

Some batteries just die when they are discharged too far and are unable to be brought back. I dealt with this in my truck with an optima yellowtop I never used and a battery in my dads car with the truck open and the lights on for a couple days. Your best bet would be new batteries in my opinion.

Finally got it jumped. Had to use the tractor battery for one side and jump straight from tractor to other side under hood. Then put everything back where it went and drove for awhile. All has been good. In the market for some heavier batteries. Thanks for the help.
