My son and I replaced his fuel filters in his 2004 F250 6.0 Powerstroke today and I noticed the following: Laying under the truck looking at he pump/filter housing against the frame that the right side lower electrical plug was/is disconnected? Does anyone know why this might not be connected? It is a one owner with he only Mod is the EGR delete. Thanks!

Thanks! Based on the diagram you sent (awesome thanks) it is the lower right plug which based on the picture is the water in fuel plug. That could be accurate but the other day the water in fuel light came on briefly and I assume it was unplugged then but still got the light on the dash? The light went out and of course we drained a little water out today. Do you think I should plug it back in? Thanks ZMANN

you shouldn't have had the dash light other than at key on if it was unplugged ?

i would probably open the cover and take sure it is clean inside , you may want to have a new gasket ready but they should be reusable but not always
i wouldn't run with the WIF unplugged myself they also sell an updated drain valve

I'm pretty sure all those lines are discontinued. Nylon tube kits are available in the aftermarket, where you can build an assembly, but it would be easier to replace it with a 5/16" diesel injection hose and clamp it in place. I've done mine from the tank to the HFCM. Or if it's the nylon section from the HFCM to the stainless line, cut the nylon hose off the stainless and replace that small section with the rubber hose.
