I have been working on an 03 6.0 cranks won't fire as a side job. I work on these engines/trucks a lot at work (not a Ford dealer, but an independent diesel repair shop). It got towed to me after sitting at another shop for a year; which they hooked a scanner to it and claimed it had a dead cylinder. The truck shut down while driving and hasn't started since. started with checking the usuals, and found low fuel pressure, and no low pressure oil. The owner did inform me that he was driving the truck with a leaking oil cooler (getting oil in coolant.) So I tore down and replaced oil cooler, oil filter stand pipe, hpop screen, and oil filter drain valve (due to being melted) and put a known good fuel pressure pump on the frame. I also installed new cam, and crank sensors, filters, oil, ICP sensor, and pulled the drivers valve cover to install a guage in the oil rail and installed a new ficm (due to owners other 6.0 needing one, he stole this trucks). Now I have low pressure oil, fuel supply pressure (45 psi), and 1500psi high oil pressure at the rail with mechanical guage. But the truck will not fire due to no ficm sync. no smoke out of the pipe, and ficm sync never goes to "yes" on my Snap-On solus edge.

I have checked/cut open the wiring harness to check, and all looks good, I have tripple checked every wire that goes from PCM to ficm, cam sensor to PCM, and crank sensor to PCM. I have stuck a pocket screw driver into the crank tone ring and did not feel any movement, and put a lab scope in the cam sensor hole to see the dowel pin in the camshaft. I have all powers and grounds to the PCM, and ficm. injectors will buzz test with koeo, but will not fire while cranking. Any help would appreciated. Thanks in advance!
