Tires are here and mounted on the wheels:

And of course the obligatory mini comparison:

and of course, the obnoxious hide away:

Wheels are 20x10, tires are 37x12.5x20 Nitto trail grapplers (the mini wheels are 10x4.5, cant remember the tires though...19 inch over all..)

OK, did a test fit...I knew they wouldnt fit with just a 4 inch lift, but they were calling my name:
Image

If only the axle was about an inch and a half forward, they could have worked...

Here is from the side, I have an 02 axle with a 2 inch spacer to match the rear D80...I wanted to see what it would be like with the 08 axle which is about 1.5 inches wider than the 02 axle on each side:

Gonna need flares I think. They are 4.5 or so BS...

Here is a pic with the spacer removed:

And they almost fit this way...if only that axle was moved forward...

Yep. Me too. Got an email from Trevor. He has finished the design, the stuff will be welded together soon and then sent to the powder coaters.

Now If all you other people werent ordering stuff from him then maybe...just maybe he could dedicate himself to the most important job...mine...;)

Just playing.

I figure about 2 weeks. Pretty good turn around for a completely custom bolt on kit with all of my special wishes.

Looking great man, keep up all the good work...

Sold the wheels and the bed. I have 2 sets of front spacers for sale now. I have the 02 spacers and a set of 08 spacers.

Then once the tranformation is done, I will be selling the 02 axle, springs front and rear, and air bag/trailer hitch set up....

Try to recoup some of the money spent...jeez...

I would be intrested in the Front 02 Spacers. Could use them on my old front rotors they were brand new and had all new bearings. what kind of $$ would you be loking for??.

Allright, So I am in the final stages of collecting parts. Ordered a Hellwig sway bar from Stealth, Thanks Raul. A set of extended 4wd vacuum lines and high speed boots for the intercooler etc from Diesel site...

6 quarts of red line oil for the new axle, a couple bottles of superblue brake fluid for the flush...

I think all thats left is brake pads, which are a pain in the butt to find. Carbotech is all out of their bobcats and arent making them any time soon unless I want to buy a set of pads, then send them to them to use as backing plates (makes them real expensive at that point) Hawk doesnt make HPS pad for the 08 axle...

I hate the superduty and wasnt really impressed by the LTS... and the stockers were horrible.

I NEED brake pads!!!!!

So, the hellwig front sway bar is in, the diesel site 4wd stainless vaccum lines are in...That just leaves brake pads. spring clips for the pads (my axle didnt have them) and a caliper mounting bolt (the axle was missing one)

oh and the suspension...

Trevor at PMF said that he is welding everthing up. Hopefully I will be receiving parts in a week or so (go to figure in powder coating time).

As soon as stuff gets here I will post pics.
