Turbo installation question

I'm getting my 03 turbo replaced under warranty. I'm installing the updated drain tube and ordering the updated oil supply line. I'm going to change my oil and filter before starting the truck. My question is, should I pour some oil inside the turbo where the supply line connects before I attach the supply line and start it or does it matter? Would that keep it from starving the bearing of oil?

I used the original oil supply line and drain tube but apparently there is an upgraded one that you can get. There is also a turbo hardware kit that cost like 8 bucks that comes with the gaskets bolts etc....

I am not sure if you have an egr delete done, but if you do and have a solid up pipe, that will help for stability without having the third bolt. I did mine with the 05 pedestal and so far things have been fine.....

Here is a write up on cleaning the turbo.

YES.. It supposed to come with a paper telling you to. Basically all it says:

1) Pour oil into the oil "in" and spin it until it goes down, repeat until full.
2) Don't "get on it" for the first 2-3min of run time..
