are you getting your mileage readings from the overhead console? just to let you know they are notorious for being wrong my friend. i would fill up and do the math just to be sure!!

 

yes, but if it was wrong before wouldnt it be wrong by the same amount now?

 

it may be off just the same but it may be way off too. im not in any way telling you your wrong because i may be wrong myself. all i kow is that when i have tried to use the consoles to judge my mileage, it has been way off. if your is right on then that is sweet, and all i can do is hope i can get the same somehow!!!

 

I believe the correct term for the overhead MPG display is the.... LIE-O-METER. 27MPG is next to impossible sorry to bust your bubble but the only way you can get an accurate estimated MPG is to fill up the truck and divide the miles travled by the gallons pumped.

 

I try that on my next tank and let you know. even if it comes out im only getting 20 I'll still be happy with all the power!!
