New ignition key

Look all over under the truck's frame rail. It's a long shot but back when I bought my truck third hand the previous two owners had made their own spares and used a hide a key box under the truck. I found four sets of keys under my truck one day pulling the stock exhaust.

 

If your door and ignition locks are original, check with the dealer. I only had a single key for my 94 Honda and it was really worn (ignition worked, but none of the locks did). I took the registration into the dealer and they cut me two new keys based on the VIN for about $30. Maybe Ford can do the same thing. Cheers!

 

Dealer here told me they can cut keys to the vin, either that or call a locksmith, they charge between $35 and $50 for a lock out and key cut, unless you have aaa

 

I didn't know the dealer would still cut keys to the vin.

 

I WENT TO MY ford dealer and they said that only 2000 and up can be re made for keys un less I can get the original papers wen the other dealership bot the truck then wen to them and they gave me the spare so know I got one under the hood and one in my computer and one on my key set =)
