I will say right off the bat, that I am being a cheap @$$ and maybe I shouldnt... 
With that out of the way, what is the difference between the fan clutch on a Super Duty with a 5.4, a v-10 and a 7.3psd? The fan clutch for the 5.4 is $50, while the clutch for the 7.3 is $180. They look the same, they feel the same, they have the same fan depth, they have the same threads, they bolt up the same, and they are both reverse rotation... so what makes the $130 dollar difference?
Is there any good reason I couldnt use the gas version on the diesel?
I just dont know what the real difference would be, they are pretty simple devices.
