Im from the 6.0 section but my cousin has a 97 f350, obviously with the 7.3 in it. What I was wondering is he has a dp tuiner 6 pos chip and no matter what the setting is, it feels like a dog. He had a bullydog on there when he bought it and again obviously pulled it to install the DP tuner 6 pos. Two things:

Can AE check to see what his HPOP pressure is? I think I read that if the HPOP press. is low, the injectors wont be able to fire as well as they would under proper pressure?

Also, does he need to get reflashed since the bullydog was on there? I think I also seen where IDP said you should but I havent seen it anymore after that. Its just hearsay...

Auto enguinity should read duty cycle of the hpop, does your cousins truck do the same when the chip is off the truck too?

i have heard (don't know how true it is) that bullydog will leave a program on the PCM when it is removed and it will need to be reflashed

Yes; it would be called Injection Control Pressure.

As long as he did whatever "command" on the Bullydog to revert the PCM to stock, there should be no need to reflash.

the story is a friend of mine had a SD (not quite the same) and had a bullydog chip got a ts style chip and it ran as stock on all positions, he did some looking on the interwebs and found people saying that when pulled the bullydog leaves leaves a ghost program (for a lack of a better term). my friend then went and had the PCM reflashed with whatever program was orignially on it and the chip now works. just what i have heard/my friend's experience take it as you will
